Our Name

Mitch+Lou pays homage to Monique's' grandparents. Monique inherited her eye from design from her grandmother "Mitch" who passed away from breast cancer when Monique was an infant. She danced with her grandfather "Lou" as a child and remembers his infectious laugh. We create spaces that celebrate life.

 Monique, an Oklahoma native, is an interior designer based in Dallas. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in Interior Design. Monique's passion for design began at a young age. Shenjoys budget-friendly renovation projects.  Green is her favorite color and tacos are her favorite food.
