Mitch + Lou pays homage to Moniques' grandparents. Monique inherited her eye for design from her grandmother "Mitch" who passed away from breast cancer when Monique was an infant. She danced with her grandfather "Lou" as a child and remembers his infectious laugh.

Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Monique is a proud Oklahoman at heart. Though she’s made Dallas, Texas, her home, her roots remain deeply connected to the warmth and spirit of Oklahoma. Her journey from the Sooner State to the Lone Star State fuels her creativity and drive every day.

Monique graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in Interior Design.
She naturally loves decorating, believing the right decor completes a space and adds personality. Monique enjoys multi-family renovation projects and knows how to maximize a budget.
